Mary Anne Moore travels the world seeking something she has not found, or even clearly defined. She sincerely hopes she recognizes it when she does. She spent her early adult life as a professional musician. Later she went on to get a doctorate in physics and became a scientist. Eventually she became educator at small universities. Life has rarely been easy, but it has never bored her. Her fiction reflects her skills of observation honed in a laboratory mixed with a great deal of imagination. In addition to southern and eastern Africa she has visited Egypt, Jordan, China, India and a good part of Europe and Central America. She has found interesting people everywhere -each facing challenges in a world that is changing rapidly. She has a lot of stories to write.
